Latent defect cover-up by Mercedes 320 CDI Turbo's

My ML320CDI had intermittent jerking effects after about 20 00km. I complaint about it a couple of times when I took the vehicle for services and was told that they cannot diagnose the problem since it is was intermittent and did not do it at service intervals. Needless to mention my ML320CDI is now two months out of its guarantee period and only have 74 000km on the clock and the turbo now failed. The quote I got to replace it amounts to staggering R73 OOO rand.I had a similar problem with my 320CDI a couple of years ago and had the turbo replaced at about 36 000km. Coincidently it is the same motor in both vehicles with the same turbo problems. Makes one think they have a latent defective turbo and cover it up.<br> Mercedes Benz will not recall latent defect vehicles/parts but rather wait until they fail making it the customers problem. I requested some goodwill from M-Benz and just got a DECLINE. I called the call centre on 18 February 2015 to be informed by Miss Rivashni that I cannot speak to the maintenance department. They will call me!!. Needless to mention I did not received any calls and phoned again on 19 February 2015 and still waiting for a call from Lance Mooney.
