John Williams Motors Ladybrand disregards clients

Lesotho residents report disturbing experiences from their dealings with John Williams Motors in Ladybrand. The latest account is that of a friend who took his E200 for repairs over a month ago. After highlighting the issue to the dealership's workshop staff, he finds himself with an unrepaired vehicle after all this time, even after paying over R27, 000 in repair costs that he did not authorise, and have clearly not fixed the car.

The disdain with which he was treated by the Dealer Principal Thabo Mokoena, and a lead mechanic who worked on his car is untold. The dealership did not once offer updates to the client, and this saw him commute to and fro over four times to still find the car unrepaired. The dealership has failed to produce parts that they claim were replaced - despite billing the client Thabo Majodina, over R27, 000.

It is appalling that Mercedes-Benz treats clients in this manner, many of whom do not have a voice nor options to change to as the Bloemfontein branch is too far for them. Mr Majodina sits with a car leaking oil - an issue the car did not have until Marius (technician involved) 'worked' on the car. We will pursue this matter in all consumer watch mediums
