*********** EMPLOYEES AT MERCEDES-BENZ UMHLANGA (DURBAN)

Good Day Mercedes-Benz Umhlanga,

I am really disappointed and most of all sadden by the *********** employees at Mercedes-Benz Umhlanga (Durban) .

On the 23rd of December 2019 i went to Mercedes-Benz In Umhlanga to trade my 2015 BMW 220I Convertible M-Sport, one of the New sales personnel assisted us and thereafter the car was taken for evaluation . We had to wait about half an hour for the car to be evaluated and the new sales person said he will give us a call regarding the evaluation.

On the 24th of December 2019 we received a call from the new sales person stating the following;

1. The roof does not open 2. accident damage 3. They also stated on the trans union report the wrong model description of my vehicle and a message stating that the engine number does not match mine.

With reference to the above mentioned i purchased my vehicle from a BMW DEALERSHIP WHICH THIS VEHICLE HAD NO COMMENTS.

The person who evaluated my vehicle was totally *********** as they could not even find the button to open the roof nor could they open the roof storage compartment!!!!!!!!….without asking for assistance made their own assumptions about my vehicle and had given BAD & INCORRECT comments about my vehicle .Further more when asked the new sales person for the name of the person that evaluated my vehicle he was reluctant to give the name and stated he does not know who did the evaluation, yet he was liaising with the person verbally in front of us .

Relating to the comment that the vehicle was accident damage shows the high level of incompetency, as the evaluator should have consulted with bmw for the Full vehicle history as the vehicle is still under motor plan, and i as a customer personally believe that a BMW DEALERSHIP will not sell a car that's been in an accident and has no record of it!
