INABILITY TO REPAIR FLAGSHIP GLS

Bought A DEMO MODEL 4500KM ON CLOCK in 2021 GLS400D 4MATIC /AMG outer package /MERCEDES BENZ .VALUE 2.2 MILLION ...One of the flagship vehicles offered by Mercedes .It arrived in Nelspruit (Garden City Motors )were i stay in the area shortly after purchased having traded 2 low km vehicles in on it (Lexus 2019 LX450 SUV 9000KM and2017 GLS 350 D 4 MATIC BLUETEC 74000KM and from word go had issues with the headlights and flashing messages on front screen of ..PLEASE SELECT LEFT OR RIGHT HAND TRAFFIC .....large as life between the 2 gauges for revs and speed taking your attention away from driving every few seconds I COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS AND WAS TOLD EVERY TIME THE PROGRAMMING WAS DONE AND IT SHOULD BE FINE NOW ..Every time i had my 10 000 km service at Garden City Motors in Nelspruit i complained about the fact that the head lights would blinding oncoming traffic on auto and on manual would only show 15 m ahead of vehicle making it dangerous to drive at night.Eventually at my 50000 km service i told Garden city to repair this issue as the vehicle was not roadworthy and a danger to myself and other road users at night..That was 20 November 2024 ...i received a call saying the vehicle is sorted and i should collect it 1.5 months later in +- 5 January 2025..Drove out of their premises and exactly same message appeared on front screen again ..not repaired ...Made another appointment and dropped off vehicle the following week...Garden city has had my vehicle for 6 months now with no repairs in sight ...escalated my plight with Mercedes Benz South Africa to no avail.The only word i get back is when i phone to find out id said vehicle has been repaired or whether some head way has been made . How can a company like Mercedes sell a product and not know how to repair this issue.This vehicles payment is R29800 per month with R3400 insurance bill and tracker of R140 ...so for 6 months my bill is payment R178800-00 plus R20400-00 insurance and R840 for tacker..Total over R200 000-00 losses not to mention the loss of value due to depreciation every year and now its out of warranty so it has a lesser chance of being sold.Having always been a Merc fan and have other Mercedes vehicles , i intend to sell all of them and move to a brand that at least will help and not be confronted by people who just give you lip service and nothing else.
