Highly appalled

Mercedes SA, The time is 10am Tues 7th July. I am stuck in Empangeni since 7pm Saturday 4th July. I am highly appalled by the service received from Inyanga Motors Dealership along with Umhlanga Dealership. Isn't the reason why we decide to join the Mercedes Benz family so that we receive the most attention to detail when it comes to servicing our vehicles and also quick assistance in times of trouble? The beginning: March 2020 Mercedes Umhlanga did a job on my vehicle, included in this job card is the Control arm on the passenger front wheel. We go into lockdown a week after this job and I'm working from home since then. Forward to July 4, I travel to eShowe to attend my Grandmother's funeral with 4 passengers, to my surprise the *****s from the control arm start falling off at the church permisses where I am parked. I phone Mercedes at 14h30 on that Saturday, the closest dealership to tow to is Inyanga Motors in Empangeni. I then arrange for my family (passengers & I) to be transported to Empangeni that night. Monday morning I am at Inyanga Motors at 11am where st that time, my car is not received on the system, meaning a job card isn't created. I then express the urgency of this matter especially because I did not carry my work laptop with me. I leave the dealership having given a Mbali all my details including Tracey's details who is the service consultant at Umhlanga. I come back at 14h30, Mbali has ended her shift and has done absolutely nothing with regards to my case. For me to receive a rental she needed to alert MB that they do indeed have my car. I speak to the MB consultant at the call centre (AGAIN) and they start to arrange the courtesy vehicle at 15h30. I leave the Dealership (biggest mistake) to wait at a friend's house for the delivery of the vehicle, 6pm I receive a call that the vehicle is on its way from Durban & should arrive at 9pm latest. 7pm the consultant phones back to say they need a requisition from Inyanga Motors to release the courtesy car. Inyanga Motors is closed. It's now 10h30, Tuesday, 7th July. I am waiting for God knows what.
