Don't buy Mercedes Benz

I had to write today to warn people that Mercedes Benz isn't what they appear to be.. For years I've been a loyal follower of the brand including their exploits in the Formula 1 arena. I believed that anything they produced was of the highest level and quality, I was sadly mistaken. One would think that spending over 700K on a vehicle will at the least earn you some peace of mind on the build quality but not when it comes to Mercedes. The headlight, which has the label "Mercedes high performance LED" get damaged by its very design. White marks on the inside of the headlight cover start to form from the heat that the daytime running lights generate, if you take it back to Mercedes they won't have it repaired or replaced, instead they hand you a bill which you'll be liable for. I was very disappointed to also see the window buttons break very easily and find out that the materials used are very cheaply constructed plastic clips which Mercedes won't repair or replace under warranty. I believe that the sums of money they charge don't justify the value you get out. I hope this experience could help people not make the same mistake, I lost R100K on the car I bought and will never make the mistake of buying another Mercedes again.
