Disappointed

For three to four years now I drive a Mercedes B200. The gearbox now all of a sudden broke, without any warning. We can have it fixed for R55 000.00, which does not include the labour, alternatively we can buy a second hand gearbox for R20 000.00 (with only a 7 day guarantee), also no labour included. We phoned around to obtain various quotations, only to find out how many businesses does not work on these specific gearboxes anymore, because these gearboxes give a lot of problems all over. I am so disappointed and the worst part is, I am, because of very bad circumstances, not able to fix my vehicle at all, thus now I have no vehicle, cannot get to work without a lift, cannot have my vehicle fixed, nor can I buy another vehicles (bad circumstances). It is sad that I only now found out how much problems this specific gearboxes give via reviews on google, etc, and I have no solution for my problem. Just a car that is going to stand, as I am unable to fix it.
