CLA 200 factory fault

Good Evening

Im writting this with so much dismay and frustration. I traded in my C200 for a brand new CLA 200 Coupe in May 2023. In October 2023 i started noticing a squeeky noise everytime i app**** my brakes due to the fact that the noise was intermittent i ignored it however it got worse (still intermittent) . I booked my car in for checking at Inyanga Motors at Empangeni KZN. I was told that the noise was being caused by back-brakes which they found to be worn out. Although not satisfied with this but i let them change the brakes.

Two days later the noise came back again and i notified them. My vehicle was again booked in for checking and i was told that that they could not find anything wrong except for dust on the front brake pads and all brakes (front and back) were fine.

This noise did not stop, on the advise of my salesman i decided to take the vehicle to uMhlanga Mercedes Benz ( where i bought the car from) for checking as well as service. At Umhlanga Dealership they said the noise was coming from the front brake pads as they were FAULTY. They decided to change them regardless of the fact that they were not worn out. What i was told was that the faulty brake pads could have been a factory fault.

Barely a day later the noise is back.

This has been the most frustrating experience i have had as this noise is very loud and irritating intermittent as it is. Mercedes has clearly failed to advise what the problem is and i am also no longer happy to continue with this car under the circumstances. Clearly this car has a factory fault that cannot be detected.

I request that the car be changed for another car (either same model or not, it doesnt matter now).

I will await your response herein.
