Airbags did not deploy

I reversed the car to allow one car to move out of my driveway and tried to move back but the car surged forward and it lost control. It hit a ford fiesta parked and the ford flanked forward hitting the pillar and jerked back. The Mercedes went on to scarved the parked landrover and reducing 2 massive plant pots to mere rubble and the debris from the pots hit the windscreen cracked. The car finally stopped at the second house column and buckled down almost splitting it into 2. What was surprising is that the airbags did not deploy. <br> <br> We contact the insurers (Standard Bank)and in addition the Mercedes head-office - customer services on *** and dealt with Bongani Tsotso and Lance Mooney. They asked me to complete some forms and email some pictures. I insisted that since the car was in my driveway in Cape Town, they could at least send someone. This is a safety issue and I would have expected Mercedes to dispatch someone to the scene. The insurance company assessor came in and also wondered why the airbags did not deploy. Finally we then heard from Mercedes that they will make an assessment using the pictures yet the car itself is there physically. We need an urgent redress by
