Air conditioning troubles!?

<p>HelloPeter</p> <p> </p> <p>Our company bought a new Mercedes Benz Vito 114 Cdi Bluetec P/V 11 November 2016. The vehicle was bought at Mercedes Benz Ermelo and on receipt of the vehicle we found out that the vehicle does not have an air-conditioning unit in it. When the sale was organized there was never mentioned that the vehicle does not have a aircon in it and who can imagine a vehicle with so much technology in it and with a value off R477 000.00 does not have an aircon. We were referred to various companies to assist us with aftermarket aircon units but no one could help us with a unit for this vehicle. The last time we tried to get someone to help with an aircon unit the reply was: Sorry no aftermarket that is approved by Mercedes S.A.</p> <p>I phone Mercedes Benz Welkom and did an inquire on an aircon unit from Mercedes Benz for this vehicle and the response was the same. They don't sell Mercedes Benz aircon units for this vehicle.</p> <p> </p> <p>So the long and shot and the ridiculousness of this story is that you buy a vehicle for almost half a million Rand and they can't even supply an aircon unit for this vehicle.</p> <p> </p> <p>What do you do with a vehicle in our country with these hot summers with no aircon!?</p> <p>Where can you can you go if no one can help you!?</p> <p>Is the best option to sell the vehicle and buy a different make with an factory fitted aircon!?</p> <p> </p> <p>Hope we can come to a solution.</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards </p> <p>Riaan Coetzee</p>
