Unpaid Repairs (Faulty Air Filter)

I own a Mercedes Benz C250, 2017 model with a mulliage of 70 000 km. During mid October 2019 as I started the vehicle in the morning, I realized that the vehicle is loosing power when changing gears. I then took the car to John Williams Mercedes Benz in Bloemfontein where I told to contact the Motor Plan before it can be attended to. Upon getting approval for the vehicle to be repaired, I was told by the mechanic that the vehicle air filter is faulty and the Motor Plan will pay for it as it is due for replacement in the next service and had to pay for the repairs myself.
