<p><span style="color: #666666; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; line-height: 20px; background-color: #ffffff;">I bought a vehicle from Mercedes-Benz Boksburg, I was told that my car wouldn't be released without a Matrix tracking device being installed by them in my car. Marinda from this branch told me that it's policy of Mercedes-Benz that this tracking device be installed because I won't get my car. She told me that they've installed an Mx2 and my monthly subscription would be r269p/m I never gave her the go ahead to install an Mx2 when I asked why she made this decision on my behalf without my consent, she told me that since I'm a pensioner, it suits me well. I then asked her why matrix can't locate my car with this device she told me Mercedes-Benz has got no business in answering those questions and that she was only assisting me and got hostile with me. What I don't understand is why am I paying so much for a device which according to matrix is R189 and a device that doesn't work. My car was located in an area I wasn't in. Im being sent from pillar to post regarding the ineffectiveness of this device. And the outrageous subscription. Mercedes-Benz sold me a pipe dream, that all customers are treated well. You installed a device without my consent, you told me that policy states that a pensioner is given Mx2, then you take my money for a subscription that doesn't even exist at matrix. Not even an Mx3 costs what I pay. You schemed me and mislead me with a policy document that your consultant Marinda referred too.told me that I unbecoming and rude when I needed explanations for the operation being run at Mercedes-Benz Boksburg.Then had the ordasity to tell me if that device is removed by anyone my warranty on my car falls off, and that if the wiring is tampered with Mercedes-Benz will not be involved even when they've installed a device that doesn't work, to date my car cannot be located even when it's parked in my garageI'm being told by matrix that my car is travelling in a suburb 30km from where I am. I want a resolution and my money. You made a decision without my consent and knowledge. </span></p>
