Sloppy service

MB Claremont seem to put a lot of effort into "customer service", but not so much effort into "actual service".

Staff were friendly and communicative. However the quality control on the service my car received was sloppy.

I inspected the work done on my car the day after I got it back from MBC. All the service items appear to have been done, however: - Despite being told that they cleaned my engine, there was the residue of some whitish liquid splattered around the engine bay. - Plastic fan shroud was not clipped into the bracket on the (replaced) radiator. 2 other clips on the plastic fan shroud seem to also be missing. - Brake fluid spilled on the brake fluid reservoir, dripped down onto paintwork. - Part of engine cover not clipped on properly

I get the impression that the mechanics were in a rush to finish the job. Hence the sloppy finishing.

Not the sort of quality I expect, given the cost of the service.

PS: Despite giving this feedback to a 3rd-party feedback agent who phoned me, representing Merc Claremont, I haven't heard any response from MB...
