damaged rim

I booked in my viano to have the sliding doors repaired and serviced. When I got the van back my rim was damaged. I reported it and took pictures. Nobody wanted to call or email me. So I had to drive 4 times from Kuilsriver to century city only to hear they not paying for damages. Does this mean they can just damage anybodies vehicle and refuse to repair damages. The check list was drawn for when the van was booked in and there not one mark on the van when it was booked in. The rims and tyres on my van was fitted 2 weeks prior to going to mercedes century city. The service is pathetic. I am ever sorry I bought a mercedes benz product.
