Unprofessional and demeaning

I took my car in for the first time and did not like the service I got from Wayne . He failed to communicate with me prior to doing anything on the vihicle and called to tell me that i need to pay such and of I cant they will charge me a r1500 per hour for diagnosing the car which he said I will have to pay about 4 to 5000 if I dont get anything done with the car which I find ridiculous. I initially made the booking and asked someone to drop my car on my behalf. He decided to communicate with the other party and not me. Then next thing am told I must pay. I dont understand why such ridiculous amounts must be paid to diagnose and why I was being threatened and not told prior as he had all my details. ACCORDING TO MY UNDERSTANDING NOTHING SHOULD BE DONE UNTIL I GIVE A GO AHEAD . That's really undermining a person,I guess lessons learnt I will never go back there. I felt
