Terrible

My family has been insured by SA warranties for the past 3 years , all our vehicles have the mechanical breakdown cover, I had a breakdown , and was told a dealer "Merc King" would assist me, cause they under the panel .

What ****, after my car being booked in , I requested a list of the panel, no such as Merc King listed , at this time my car Merc c 180 Kompressor was semi stripped ( 15 min labour).

This being 20th century days , Merc king does not have :

1. Email

2. Fax machine

3. Any form of modern communication

total rip , off , they sell a good story , receptionist and owner are in the same tune, I had to drive all the way the workshop to sign a job card, which they already started .

After 7 days , me contacting them , was told my engine my engine is blown, don't ask me cause I did not see and computerised machines to test the car .

I was charged R2250 for what I don't know , I contacted Merc Umhlanga , they were shocked , I was at the mercy of the dealer, so I paid just to get the car out.

I am in the process of legal steps pertaining to the matter , SA warranties should have a level cost when the stripping liability goes to the customers, otherwise, the dealers have free reign and can charge nay amount .

If anyone has the same policy please do your homework, don't trust dealers and their sidekicks, they want to **** us the ******** clients who don't know the field.

WATCH OUT FOR "MERC KING" you will loose ...... see them in court
