Mens Clinic International - Bellville

I visited Mens Clinic International in Bellville on 27/06/2020 for a consultation. My understanding of which would have been to address my concerns, find possible reasons for the problem and under go some testing to find out possible causes.

Once agreeing to the consultation fee, and meeting Dr Bell I was surprised to see that the consult was literally a questionnaire and a test to determine the dose of medication I was to be prescribed. No discussing of the history, symptoms or anything of the sort took place. Instead I was prescribed medication which i would later learn would cost me something to the tune of R6k. When trying to address my concerns with Dr Bell, he became visibly irritable and said that what I had read was "*******". Perhaps it was, but I wanted to know that my diagnosis was based on more than a questionnaire.

Upon meeting with Siya who I was told by Dr Bell would give me the medication, I was given meds to fit my budget of R1k in total. Now that I have researched these tablets and injections and discussed with my partner, I am not comfortable to take them based on a simple questionnaire and a test to find out the dose I would be prescribed.

I am dissatisfied with my experience as a whole and would like to return all the medication which is still sealed for a refund under the consumer protection act of 2011 and the right to redress afforded to the consumer.

I feel like I have visited a legal prescription *** drug store and not a clinic.
