Utter disregard!

<p>I love shopping in general, but this time of the year it becomes an irritating topic as malls extend their hours and service levels drop! From a consumer point of view I am feel very dissapointed in Menlyn Park shopping centre! Yes the place it beautiful but to fix your trading hours at 9 to 9 is truly disappointing. You have no regard for the people that have to work in these stores and are kept from their families for extended periods as stores push overtime in stead of appointing extra staff for propper shifts. Then there is the issue of this money machine trading until 9pm on the 24th of December! Inconceivable, these poor people stand readily available for us as customers and then they might not even make Christmas with their families due to transport issues and if there is transport available it is at a higher cost!!! </p> <p> </p> <p>Now for the really shocking part, you want customers to enjoy their shopping and amidst this heat some stores airconditioning is not working. I don't even want to shop in a store with no airconditioning in the summer, how do you expect the people that work there to be there under these circumstances.</p> <p> </p> <p>I feel it is high time that us as consumers acknowledge these people that are there in the stores for our pleasure and assistance and stop aiding this abuse. I will not be supporting menlyn this festive season and in the coming year and urge other consumers to do the same. We all expect fair treatment, in life, in work and relationships, it is time we start looking out for everyone and not just for what is convenient for us! </p>
