Stuck in a lift at Menlyn Mall

Good day,

We are stuck in a lift with my family and two gentlemen at menlyn mall. It is four adults and two kids. When we called the centre management numbers displayed in the lift (012) 764- 9634, the security on duty informed us that there is no lift technician on standby. We then called the lift emergency number displayed in the lift *** & they informed us that they are calling the technician on standby. Apparently menlyn mall does not have a full time technician stationed at the mall. We had to wait for more than an hour to get help. We are stuck in lift no 02/ L3982. We even called Brooklyn police station to get help.

Keeping in mind that menlyn mall has previous history of lift stuck incidents, the situation is not at all pleasant.
