Poor judgement call

Bad service I received today at Truworths Menlyn Mall. Couldn’t buy clothes on my account because I forgot my id and truworths card. I was told they can’t use my expired license just because of that reason. Same information as on id I even asked can they use my temporary license they refused. One lady said to me if I provide my expired license to the traffic police what happens. I then said that is why I have my temporary license. Still they refused to help. Manager was called on his cell while on lunch. He’s response was the same. My question here is is the information not the same for verification even though my license expired I had proof that app**** for one. Same as a person can provide proof if they app**** for id card. Is truworths now a traffic department or clothing company? Why do that to a customer, I drove all the way from Bronkhorstspruit and paid R45.00 toll fee. I have to go back again tomorrow because they refused to help me and I was treated like a person who is mad for asking to be helped.
