Gift voucher

<p>My friend, Lucia, bought me a R500 menlyn gift voucher on 25th of May. My wallet was ****** with the voucher in it, during a house robery on the 3rd of June, police took statements, we were given a case number. Lucia gave me her ID number, so I could redeem my gift voucher. I called menlyn today, 12 June, was given a number to call, called that number, the R500 is still on the voucher, the card was then blocked, to keep it safe. I went to menlyn's info booth, all the way from midrand, where I live, and was told that the voucher won't be re-issued, without a avidavit. This is ridiculous. I'm not going to the police to get a avidavit for a gift voucher. This is unacceptable.</p>
