Misrepresentation of advertised prices

I found an ad on Autotrader for a mini at *R186k* from Menlyn Auto. I called and spoke to Gerard who told me that the price had changed from the advertised price to *R199K*. I noted the change and mentioned that I might come round the next day to view the vehicle. I wanted to show my wife the pictures today and print out the ad to take with me and discuss the price difference with Gerard. But when I checked this morning the price had changed again to *R209 900!! *<br> <br> So they changed it from R186 000 to R209 900 in 24 hours - this is ********* in my opinion and I wonder what the consumer protection act would have to say about it. <br> <br> I called Gerard and he said that he will still sell it to me at R199K and did not properly explain why it was now suddenly advertised at R10 000 from the price he verbally gave me nor a proper explanation of why it is now suddenly R24 000 more than originally advertised.<br> <br> For a mini franchise this is shocking and I cannot believe that they would behave like this. And the funny part is that this is even before I have seen the vehicle!
