Dont trust what you have not seen

I app**** for a vintage washing machine online, i place a bid for 1000 rand witch ended up to be 6000 rand. When i explained that i did not make such a high bid they refused to listen and i had to make two payments. I asked if the washing machine was in working order and they said that it was. when i got it eventually it was not working and i had to un-jam the washing leaver and the pump section was missing. When i contacted them regarding the issue they said that they were told it was working and never tested it. So i said they should give me a part from another unit they had witch was s**** and they said that i should make an offer and was not willing to refund me or to fix the machine.
