Wheel Clamping

I was there to deliver a cake on Saturday afternoon at The Venue.

There was NO SECURITY present to provide me with guidance as to where to park temporarily as I delivered the cake and I couldn’t afford to park too far from the entrance as the cake was very heavy.

I asked the chef on duty and he said I’m okay to park in front since I’m only here to deliver.

Came back outside to my wheels clamped by a very rude security guard who refused to listen to my perfectly logical explanation. He also refused to hear the chef out.

My grievance is the poor attitude your security had and also how NO ONE WAS PRESENT to direct me when I arrived.

I also don’t like how the security guard changed his story so many times, claiming he called out for me to park elsewhere but I never heard or saw him until I was trying to leave.

Your security guards are also *******, they **** about the fee on three separate occasions. First it was the stated R500 then he said I could pay R125 then it moved to R300 then R250 then back to R500.

I understand rules but there was no one there to tell me that parking there was not allowed.

I wasn’t there to eat or shop, I was working and no one informed that parking there to deliver a cake would be “*******”.

Your security guards are entitled and very rude. They drove my colleague and I on the golf carts to the payment office but refused to take us back to our cars as all of a sudden three passengers on the cart is considered an overload.

We are not fami**** with the mall so to leave us stranded in the underground parking was disgusting to say the least. Thank God some of the staff from the shops in your centre were kind enough to direct us.

I’d like a full review of everything that occurred on Saturday and I’d like to be fully refunded as it was a slip up on your staffs side and not mine.

My wheel cap is also damaged due to very poor handling on the part of your guards.

The entire incident left a bitter taste in my mouth and I don’t think I’ll evef return.

Please fix this.
