Negligence in the pediatric ward of Muelmed Hospital

Do yourself a favour. Do not bring your infant/ baby to Muelmed hospital.

My 2 month old baby is admitted here for a lung related illnes. On Saturday one nurse "put my child on oxegen" for 7 hours only to discover that it was never connected but just put in the cabinet. How we discover this is when the child starts to choke. The bottle that's supposed to supply oxegen has water inside so it fell over and the water flowed right into my son's nostrils with a possibility of going straight to the lungs.

I rang the bell, but the assumption here is that patients ring the bell to ask for bottles as said by one of the nurses. My younger sister had to run out to call them out for help and the nurse has the nerve to say next time ring the bell so we know there is an emergency, mind you I rang the bell and so did the lady I was sharing the ward with.

All they can say is we are sorry while a life could have been lost through drowning.

As if that's not enough. This morning the physiothe****** comes to give my child therapy and this requires him to suction the child from the nose and the mouth. He comes with a suction pipe as big as the child's nostrils and tried to use that. Obviously there will be blood as this is not the right size for infants. The sorry excuse I get is that the person who orders the equipments is on leave and the one standing in doesn't know how to order.

Imagine if your child is left alone under the care of such such negligent "care givers"
