QUESTION , Should one label ALL Melomed Hospitals/Medical Practitioners as None Caring Vultures? Not Giving Hoots about the Patients & Grinning/Smiling about the Lump Sum they Getting out of you the patient?

I encountered a terrible experience with a Loved one at Tokai Melomed in 2018, that I do not want to relive; may her soul Rest In Peace.

The following episode left a LUMP IN MY THROAT AT GATESVILLE.

In January 2020, I visited Cape Town, my granddaughter was rushed early hours of the morning to Gatesville Melomed Emergency. Reason, Her pediatrician operates from that hospital!

This was the Worst Living Nightmare, for me, I shudder thinking of my two year granddaughter still having nightmares after what those so called “Doctors” put her through!

A tablet was given to my granddaughter, upon arrival. After bringing everything up, it was mentioned to her Mom that she was not supposed to breast feed!! Seriously after the deed was done!

Then,

Those “Doctors” on duty, one who wreaked of tobacco, decided they were going to put her on a drip in the Emergency room as the pediatrician was not available.

No emotion whatsoever , I requested; practically begged that they please not let her see the needle. My plea was ignored. Next her right hand was taken and obviously any baby would react! ( I would scream, being treated in that manner) They decided to wrap her tightly whilst they “tried” to find a vein! No vein found. They took her left hand, stuck another needle into that hand! No vein there either!!

Another person/doctor came to the bed and said it would be best if it was done! I asked if it was necessary to let a little baby experience so much pain without knowing what was wrong with her. His response was “ it’s painful for me too, when I go for injections” I told him to take his age and subtract it from TWO. I left the Room to sit in the passage. I could not take sitting for three minutes hearing my Granddaughter’s screams/crying & ran back into the room. That person could also not find a vein!

I told my Son to tell them to STOP & that we were leaving that hospital IMMEDIATELY with my granddaughter.

For me it was unbearable having to witness the coldness of those people toward a Baby having needles in both hands! Why not try her leg for a vein??

Thank goodness, she was healed after visiting another doctor who treated her with loving care.

My son received the Invoice, lump sum charged for needles pushed into hands of a BABY! Honestly I do not have Words to Express how I feel toward All of them who put her through all that PAIN, for MONEY.

A Definite, BIG NO TO GATESVILLE AND ALL THE DOCTORS THERE. Bismillah!!
