In 2017, without knowledge that it would have a bad effect, I took my medication with green tea. It caused me to pass out. My husband rushed me to Constantiaberg hospital where we were turned away because I did not have savings on my medical aid. He then took me to Melomed Tokai were the same thing happened. I ended up going to Victoria Hospital (a government hospital). I pay R3k a month for medical aid and the private hospitals wouldn't assist me.

My daughter that is 36 weeks pregnant, approached Melomed Tokai two days to book in for the birth of her baby, she was turned away. She was previously attending Retreat MOU as she had issues with her medical aid. She approached the Melomed hospital once the issues were resolved. She was in such disbelief and upset when she left there. The hospital caused her so much stress.

What hospital turns someone away that is seeking help? Did you not take an oath to assist people in need?

I will never recommend that hospital to anyone! You should be embarrassed and ashamed.
