MELOMED PVT HOSPITALS POOR PATIENT DELIVERY

I recently visited 2 MELOMED PVT HOSPITALS ,and in both cases I was highly disappointed.

First situation: Melomed Gatesville. I visited the casualty section first on a Sunday afternoon and was diagnosed with a strain of H1N1 - also known as swine flu. The Dr in casualty based on all my medical history treated me and gave me medication to leave, she informed me that if I am not well by Thursday she would have me admitted as I was having other congestion issues preventing me from breathing. Also with regards to myself I was sick for longer than a month and visited a Dr 4 times in 2 weeks before going into casualty. On Thursday I was extremely weak and still sick with a sore throat for a month, body pains , fever and extreme congestion , I called the Dr to have me admitted. She requested a direct admission which was granted at 08:35 I went to the clinic just before 09:00 being in pain and weak, I sat on a chair for 3-4 hours waiting for a bed and someone to see to me, no luck, when I eventually got a bed, I waited again till 15:45 to be addressed for the first time by a Dr , when I called the nurses due to extreme pain I kept on being told they can't do anything till the Dr sees me. The hospital was not clean, the kitchen had some serious food issues and cleanliness was certainly an issue. The nurses don't respond to patients or assist when they are called. Very disappointing as hospitals like this are quick to bill you with no service. At one point I called a nurse for 2 hours before she came to administer me with pain medication.

After a few days I was required to go for surgery and decided to try Melomed Tokai. The Dr and surgery went well, again the nurses were rather rude, unhelpful and didn't attend to my pain and nausea until hours passed after surgery. I would need to ring the bell several times and be told the nurse will come by a sister. The nurses in both hospitals do not provide patients with care and I am very unhappy. The kitchen staff were again very unhelpful.

Overall care, hygiene, the nurses and staff are an issue and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to Melomed hospitals.
