Melomed has NO COMPASSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Melomed has no compassion

On the 13 May 2024 I was driving on Kilpfontein road on my way to pick up my son from school. A Melomed Employee on duty drove in to the back of my car while I was approaching a red light and I slid into the car infront of me. The driver immediately came to my aid and we exchanged details as tears was streaming down my face from the shock. I immediately felt a panic and said I need to get my son and I drove another 5 min to pick up my son almost driving blindly from the shock. When I got to the school I stopped my car and realized what happened and burst out crying and called my sisters. I went to get my son and as I was going back to my car extremely rattled my sisters called to say they are on there way in withing 10 minutes my sis and her friend was there I then realized my head and neck was in pain and started to cry. They immediately drove me to Melomed Gatesville hospital which is also the hospital the driver that drove into me is employed at. I went to the emergency where I told the doctor and the client services employee of what occurred with me everyone was very nice and made sure I was taken care of the driver even came to see me and after I was treated for the pain and had my x-rays done he even drop me at home. However its been over a month that the accident occurred Melomed has not made arrangements to get my car repaired even though management had informed me the issue was reported to there insurance. I have also mailed Melomed management requesting to be compensated for my medical cost. Till now I have not received any feedback on my car repairs nor my medical cost. Iam a single mom that relies on my car everyday and I cannot afford my excess and I feel like I am not receiving any compassion now that its time for the hospital to resolve this dispute. I emailed requesting and in person meeting as well and no reply. Melomed hospital mission statement is about transforming lives through commitment towards delivery in exceptional patient-centred healthcare, however they cannot even show compassion to a single mom that was injured and traumatised by an accident caused by their employee. Saying I am highly disappointed is and understatement.
