Melomed Bellville

I recently had two bad experiences at Melomed Bellville. The 1st time I had to pay a deposit of R25 000 before someone could be admitted in hospital, despite the medical aid confirming they will pay. After the medical aid paid the medical bills, I had to wait5 to 7 workings days for the refund.

After thinking that might be one bad experience, my partner had to go to Melomed Bellville emergency unit again today. It took more than 5 hours for a ECG, xrays and bloodtest, then the doctors diagnosed her incorrectly by giving panado, brufin and cough medicine, over the counter meds. The diagnoses were incorrectly done, now I have to pay doctor bills for wrong diagnoses. This is not the first time a doctor diagnosed incorrectly. Where do doctors get held liable for incorrt diagnoses, but they get paid for whatever they do
