Melomed bad service

23 April 1 o'clock the morning he taken into Melomed hospital Tokai on a Sunday evening when my son couldnt breath, he had a high fever

he couldnt even walk. His face was turning purple and white around his lips

I was in a panic i was a few roads away from Melomed at Tokai and since Ive heard Melomed is

Equipped to treat Renal Patience i rushed him there with my neighbour

I payed the deposite as me and my neighbour explained Gavin-Dean is a Renal Patient

and need a Renal Doctor to treat him we were told that theres a Renal Doctor on Duty i was just relieved that my son is getting help I was reassured that his going to get all the help he needs

The next morning early between 7 and 8 i was there I was shocked to see my son in a worse state

than the day before. The nurse on duty said he has to be rushed by Ambulance to Groot Schuur Hospital

I asked what was done for him! I was told that sinse the day before he has not eaten anything. Why is his stomage working he had to be pushed with a wheel chair into

the toilet and be constantly washed it seemed as if the Physician gave him the wrong medison. After waiting hours for the ambulance.I was never told that the Ambulance charge R3000 I was told I couldnt drive my son to Groot Schuur Hospital the Ambulance will take him.I never gave Melomed permission to pay anything with the deposit I paid Melomed

Apart from the deposite i payed Melomed Hospital, Doctor Moodley who never done anything to help my son charge us R6 000 nobody took the time to explain to me that i still had to pay anything else.

I feel as a single parent unemployed with two children was taken advantage of at the most

terrifying time of my life

Please explain to me why are Melomed Hospital avertising that Renal Patients will get all the help they need and no help was offered to my son he could have died under the care of Dr Moodley who I paid R4000 and is still sending me bills for the R2000 after I explain that I couldnt pay it I even asked her to pay me back at lease R2000 of the monies I payed her and she refused

I was told by a Doctor at Melomed that Dr Moodley over charge me

I explain this matter to you to ask Melomed to Refund me my monies cause nothing was done to help my son

The Medical Aid for my son will be ready to use 1Sept 2018, because we live near to your hospital

I thought I will arange to let my son get Dialysis at Melomed but after my bad experiance That will never happen
