Incorrect diagnosis at Gateville Medical Trauma unit

<p>on the 23rd Dec I took my son to the GP as he has ongoing earache. As he suffers from a severely retracted ear drum I didn not want to take any chances. The GP (and I) good visibily see a blue seal in his ear. I was advised to immediately get him to an ENT. As it was holiday period I could not get hold of any ENT so took him to Gatesvilee Emergency. After spending the entire afternoon there and not one but two Dr's assessing him I was told there is nothing wrong nd just given a script for antibiotic drops. </p> <p>I went away on holiday the week thereafter and my child was in excruciating pain. Immediately upon my return yesterday I took him to an ENT who had to give him 6 injections in his ear to eaase the pain and pulled out a huge chunk of blue wax from his ear plug seal which had broken off in his ear. How could 2 Dr's tell me nothing is wrong when he was in pain and I insisted I can see it! Shocking, The reputation the trauma unit has precedes itself!</p>
