Horrible

<p>Melomed is the worst Private hospital anyone can recommend to anyone. On Friday my mother and siter rushed my son to Melomed Private Hospital in Mitchells Plain as I was still at work. To they surprise Melomed staff told them they can't help my son as they didn't have the medical aid card with them even though they were told I was on my way with the medical aid card. My son was struggling to breath when my mother got there, but even so they refused to help them and they had to leave with my son even though they saw how bad the child was when they arrived at the hospital. What makes me really sick is the fact that this is not the first time this is happening. Sometime beginning of the year when I was coming back from home I arrived at the house and my son was struggling to breathe his temperature was very high we tried to get it down, but we couldnt eventually I called an ambulance to assist which they told us that his temperature is very high and needed to be rushed to hospital. We were rushed to Melomed Mitchells Plain on arrival we were kept at the waiting area for more than 3 hours and by then my son's temperature was already down. Just when I thought that was bad enough after they checked my son we were told we can go home and the time was like 1am in the morning. We leave in Khayelitsha so we were not able to go home at that time as the was no transport and to my surprise we were told we can wait at the waiting area till we can go home. I was extremelly disappointed with the service I received at the hospital and as a result I won't use it anymore and wouldn't ven recommend it to anyone their service is very poor. So while me, my son and some elderly women slept on the chairs the whole night some stuff were sleeping on the hospital beds. Melomed Mitchells Plain is disgusting my son almost died infront of them and they actually didn't care. So my mother had to rush my son to a nearest day hospital so he can get oxygen and thank God for the Mitchells Plain Day Hospital when my mom got there immediately he was rushed into the emergency room to be put into a oxygen machine. He was there for more than 4 hours so thats how bad he was because they put him in it then took him out, but after a few minutes he was struggling again so they put him back.</p>
