I must just say for a private hospital this was by far the worst experience. I understand we in a pandemic and there are alot of safety protocols to follow to ensure that everyone is kept safe from Covid - 19. But to take the humanity out of you as an individual makes me feel worse about everything.

My wife went into labor and I arrived at Gatesville just to be informed that she had to do a Covid test. A week prior to this happening we went to the maternity ward to check if everything was okay but no nurse or doctor informed us throughout our journey we had to do a covid test before giving birth. Anyway when arrived they informed us of the test so I said we were not aware of anything. They treated myself and my wife as if we were stone cold ********* speaking to us in the most awful manner even though my wife has labor pains. The screening team infront made my wife feel so uncomfortable and unsafe that they said I was not allowed to be there even during her birth. Now for her to hear that knowing shes about to give birth made things very uneasy. It literally took for me to become a villian in order for them to even listen to me.

I am really and honestly disappointed that even when you go to a private hospital you have to feel like you just an object. I always said you pay for quality but with this experience I figured I was wrong.
