Unprofessional and Disappointing Experience at Melkland, Vetkoekland en Roomysland" Copy Add to Editor

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Melkland, Vetkoekland en Roomysland. I went there to purchase 4 Fatcakes, but the lady on the coffee shop side informed me that she was busy baking and that I could collect them later. Upon my return, I was informed that I could only get 3 Fatcakes. I expressed my dissatisfaction, and to my surprise, I was sworn at by the lady. I decided to escalate the issue to the owner, Hans, and he initially told me to speak to Esther, the shop manager. When I spoke to Esther about the incident, she said she would take it up with the specific lady. However, Hans suddenly got involved and started pointing his finger at me, accusing me of being rude to his staff because I mentioned that there were 4 people living in my household and now only 3 Fatcakes. I was shocked by his behavior and attitude towards me as a customer.

I live far out of town, but I always believed that supporting local small businesses would help them. Unfortunately, this is not the case for Melkland, Vetkoekland en Roomysland, as Hans told me that he didn't care about the R 5000 I spend there monthly. This was such a nice place when the previous Manageress Joricka Smith was still there. It's a shame that the current management has ruined the experience for me. Luckily, there are two other Mikeries in Nigel, and I will be taking my business there from now on. Melkland, Vetkoekland en Roomysland will never see me again.
