Pathetic

<p>Met up with friends at Melissa's in Newlands on Sat 22/04/2017. After being seated and given menus, 5 min later the waiter appeared but we needed more time. 20minutes later I noticed that tables around us were getting their orders and the waiter had not reappeared. After flagging another waiter, he took our order. We went inside to have a look at the cake selection and asked another waiter about the cakes. She gave a dismissive answer but as soon as 2 white ladies asked about the cakes, she gave them an exact description of each cake stand!!</p> <p>We opted for scones instead, which unfortunately were in fact rock buns! The waiter also had to reminded to bring the accompaniments.</p> <p>An overall disappointing experience after being recommended!!</p>
