Overstaffed and zero service-orienation

<br> I visited Melissa's Tableview yesterday afternoon. The restaurant was less than 20% full at 4pm, lots of staff standing around, yet service was a disaster. <br> <br> I made contact with various staff members on entering yet I had to wave from my seat after no-one approached us for about 10 minutes. A \manager\" then asked a grumpy waitress to serve us, which she did slowly. We were given the menu and she disappeared without waiting to take our order. After 5 minutes I made eye-contact and she re-appeared taking our order with a disinterested attitude. We waited. After about 10 minutes another waiter approached us to ask if he could help to hurry up our order. I repeated the drinks part of the order. The drinks were delivered about 5 minutes later, but no food. (In our case a slice of cake and a ****in, no cooking) After another 5 minutes a slice of cake arrived and the waitress told us she was still busy warming up a ****in. We waited another 5-10 minutes for the ****in. Again a sullen look and no comment. Unfortunately the ****in was dry and very cold at the centre. <br> I asked for the bill, but my waitress disappeared to operate the shop till. Hugh? I had to go to two tills to pay.."
