Manager : Christopher Diamond went back on his word / agreement

On Saturday 28 October 2017, we met with Willem Esterhuizen regarding a valuation on our car , also we wanted to purchase another smaller car from CMH. A price of R140 000 was agreed upon as a"trade in " price for our Toyota Corolla Advanced 2013 - mileage +-50 000km.

The purchase price for the smaller car - Toyota Etios 2016 - mileage +-60 000kms was R140 000

Christopher Diamond was called to do the valuation , & was happy to do a "straight swop" I quote, at R140 000. Plus an extended warranty ( this in the presence of THREE other witnesses)

We were telephoned by Willem Esterhuizen us on the Weds. 1 November 2017 , telling us to collect the car.

When we arrived at the showroom, we were told that the invoice was now R135 000 not R140 000 as agreed upon. We were told that we must go & purchase a warranty at Toyota at our cost of R5 000.

We waited for almost 2hrs in the showroom, as we would not agree to this arrangement.

After Willem was unable to locate the financial manager or get closure on this deal, he told us to leave with the car - to email receipt of purchase for the warranty & our banking details & they would refunds the R5 000 plus send the FAIS documents .

This as yet has not been done , after phoning Christopher Diamond on 3 November 2017 - he told us that we should come in . Customer Service - non existent !!!!
