Mekor Suzuki Kenilworth! Stay away! Worst service, product knowledge & ambassadors to the Suzuki brand

Mekor Kenilworth....the worst dealership you can possibly deal with. They will never accept liability for anything. They are very quick to "blame" McCarthy although the individuals that assisted you then are still employed by Mekor and therefore also represent Mekor. In what universe does this happen...When a person gives you bad advice or poor service it's the "company" or previous dealership? Lets start with sales....Mr Graham Watson does not even know what is accepted by Suzuki Auto SA, gives poor advice & runs a 4x4 training academy. He uses a Suzuki Jimny which he knows very little about and Suzuki Auto SA have been made aware of this. Ask the service advisor, Chesray, to call you if you require assistance...do so numerous times....she won't call back...or maybe she might...it really is difficult to say. Mr Brian Hoskins, the Service Manager, will implicate Suzuki Auto SA as the holders of a warranty whilst it is not the case. Really....and this is the Service Manager?Should he as the service manager not have more knowledge than that? Mr Chris Scoble is a whole new character in the Mekor Suzuki Kenilworth dealership. He will NEVER accept any liability. He will NOT supply a solution to a problem. He will even go as far as to say Suzuki Auto SA is also to blame although they only supply an excellent product and his dealership is dragging the name which is Suzuki through the mud. I am disgusted by their attitude and general service. Mr Scoble has claimed to be a Suzuki "fan" and that I think is true. A fan is all he will be as the Suzuki Jimny in this instant deserves to have fans and their owners/drivers love them. Mekor Kenilworth are just fans....they don't have the knowledge to correctly advise customers and in that case it's best to admire the Jimny and be.....what is that word again....oh yes....a fan. Do you want to buy a vehicle from a fan or a dealership that knows the product/vehicle they are selling? All I have said here is done after numerous email correspondence with Mekor Suzuki, Mr Cris Scoble and I have the emails to back it up. The happy ending for me is that I have found a dealership willing to offer great service, excellent product knowledge & professional service and I will be proudly driving my NEW Suzuki Jimny within the next few days and can truthfully say....I am a huge fan of the Suzuki Jimny and I, the customer, knows more about the product that Mekor Suzuki sells. There is simply no excuse for such ignorance and poor product knowledge if you are willing to take the hard earned money from customers and then shy away from your responsibilities. Customers beware when you set foot in Mekor Suzuki Kenilworth as talk is cheap and you will pay the price.

So Mr Scoble had to go on Facebook to comment....Mmmm...I (This guy) was advised by a current employee Mr Scoble. Oh well, so I am not one of the most intelligent beings, but please send me proof of me wanting or requesting a "freebie....hahahaha. My very first email asked for a civil solution and I am open to suggestions...which you could not even read properly or understand. I clearly stated in an email that even if you (your Mekor fan club) offered me the top trade and an additional R30 000 I will still not purchase any Suzuki product from YOU / MEKOR ever again. So....just check the mails and please send me the one where I asked for a "freebie". Oh...Suzuki Auto SA is also aware that I never expected a freebie. The facts and emails speak for themselves. Ps. My ego is just fine. I have a new Jimny and you (Mekor) could benefit from the level of service and professionalism the dealership has shown where I purchased my new Jimny. Ps. Oh darn.....Sadly it was not free.

Just to those out there who use Hellopeter as a guide or simply just check how the company they are about to support "ranks". With reference to the comment Mr Scoble, Executive Director/Shareholder Mekor Suzuki, made on Facebook. In a nutshell...the tyres are not oversize in the sense that Suzuki only allows a 215/70/15 and the salesman (who still works at Mekor) advised me on these "oversized" tyres....in other words he does not know his product and very likely still giving poor advice at Mekor. (Co A& Co B....are entities....not people. People do the talking and Co B in this instance is represented by the salesman who has a voice and also supplies 4x4 training with Suzuki Jimny vehicles of which his training vehicle is fitted with items not authorised by Suzuki Auto SA. Mekor is represented by the nice "MEKOR sticker" on the Jimny. It's a "freebie".....free advertsing....haha. To get back to the tyre issue....I have the email explaining the tyre issue....I never reversed over bumps and complained about it in the manner described. It did not even touch the chassis? They failed to follow up with the supplier of a steering damper which I complained about the first time over a year ago as lock to lock there was a 50% decrease when I steered left.....going forward...not only backwards. You have to agree it would be funny seeing a Jimny reversing past you at 110km/h on the N1 or doing a 4x4 trail only in reverse. If a part has been problematic for so long do you consult the supplier or cut the front bumber of the cistomers vehicle because the wheels are touching there. Apparently a rotating rubber tyre makes no sound when it is turned and touches the plastic. That makes sense doesn't it? Talking about me wanting a "freebie". I actually sent that post to Suzuki Auto SA and Mr Scoble requesting any email or statement proving that I ever asked or expected a "freebie". He is unable to do so. I find resorting to Facebook as an "Executive Director" for your comments on such a serious matter hilarious. Be weary readers, if you have a bad experience with Mekor, which you eventually will....if you have not already been down that unpleasant road....your "ego" will suffer due to their poor service and total inability to represent a very good brand. Let me say it again....I love the Suzuki Jimny and went to a dealership that knows the product and respects what Suzuki Auto SA stands for approves. I purchased the new Jimny although my current one only had 11200km on the clock.

Just so everyone reading this has a complete picture. This "guy" me, spoke to the sales rep who is the one who advised me on three variants of tyres in the size whicg Mr Scoble says are oversized. They were not chosen by me without asking a person representing the company. This "sales rep" as he is called is still advising clients on this and I have pictures showing the way the problem is fixed....yes...they just go and cut away a part of the front bumber. Most intellectual beings know the bumper is plastic and not part of your bumper except for a ***** or plastic clip or two. The difference of Mr "Facebook Comment" Scoble and me is that I have email correspondence contradicting his statements of me ever wanting a "freebie" as he calls it, emails asking to assist in resolving the issue in a civil way and/or suggesting an option that will work towards resolving the issue in a civil manner. His dealership/dealerships are represented by the people working for him (for example the sales rep) and they still could not accept bit of liability. When I made a suggestion to trade in my vehicle they were quick to "pounce" on a possible new car sale. I, as previously stated, opted for a more reputable company and all Mr Scoble does (who is the "face" of Mekor....he represents Mekor is a very big way) is twist and turn the facts to his liking whilst the proof is in all the emails between myself and him as well as Suzuki Auto SA.
