Meili Logistics is ****ming people and sabotaging SHEIN

Meili Logistics is a ****. I bought clothes from SHEIN on 26 February 2025 and the cost was R1,585.00. On 01 March 2025, I got a message from IMile Delivery to pay R385.00 for VAT&Duty which I did the same day. On 10 March 2025, I received an email from Meili Logistics stating that I need to pay additional cost of VAT and Duty because SHEIN declared an incorrect value of my clothes. When I engaged them on this, I was told to add R1,200.00. How is this possible? How can I be charged such an outrageous price for VAT and Duty? Since when are VAT and Duty higher than the cost of the consignments ordered? Meili Logistics is a **** of a company. I have been ordering from SHEIN since last year, I have never been subjected to this. I am angry and disappointed. I’m still waiting for the explanation for this amount charged, and my parcel.
