Worst removal company EVER!!!!!!

These 2 companies are associated with each other.

Lenox logistics does not exist as an actual removal company. Lenox logistics (Garth) only plays the middle man sourcing business and then refers you to this utterly unprofessional and useless company called Megashift Logistics.

Megashift arrived 10 hours late for the upload at my mom's house in PTA. With no prior communication of course. She had to phone around like a crazy person trying to find out what's going on. Completely stressed out and all her plans had to be changed at the very last minute.

Then the delivery was 4 DAYS late to Cape Town. Yes, you read right - 4 DAYS!!!!!!

Also with very little to no communication from their side. We had to keep contacting THEM asking what's going on and everyone had a different story. They said her goods is part of a shared move BUT NOWHERE STIPULATED IN THEIR PAPERWORK!!!!!

CALEB, the so called OPS MANAGER for Megashift is the most unprofessional person you will ever deal WITH EVER. Your sanity will be tested to the max when you speak to this HIGHLY unprofessional person who claims to be the ops manager.

He refuses to take responsibly for anything happening and never answers his phone either. If you are lucky, you may get a reply on WhatsApp but definitely not what you want to hear. All they say is "these things happen" and you just have to accept it.

Abel, the very absent MD also doesn't answer his phone. Not even if his own staff phones him. Not sure if he even exists 🤔 i assume he just sits back and pocket your money!

MEGASHIFT LOGISTICS don't have any trolleys in their trucks and refuses to walk 30 meters with any furniture.

So be aware, if their truck is unable to park RIGHT UP AGAINST your front door, you will be FORCED to pay an additional R1700 for a shuttle service, also branded Megashift Logistics. HUGE MONEY MAKING Sceme!

Caleb's words - they are human beings - they can't walk 30 meters. (Not even with small boxes to just start the offload)

They are all bullies and the most unprofessional service I have ever experienced in my life.

I wrote a review on Megashift Facebook page and they blocked me from the page. Doesn't that say allot about them?

Then I wrote a Google review and their reply is clearly visible on Google... just shifting the blame to Garth who's the middle man. Like I said, they don't take any responsibility and not even ONE APOLOGY!!!

OH and they demand full payment before they even arrived at your house with the goods (without even telling you exactly when the truck will arrive) and Garth threatens to stop the truck if full payment is not made immediately.

Where in your life have you ever heard such bull****? What's the deposit for? they are BULLIES!!! Holding you at gunpoint because they have your goods in their possession.

Last but not least, they put stickers on ALL your furniture to number it. GOODLUCK with getting those stickers off! Most of your stuff will be left with sticky marks.

Lesson learned? ALWAYS ALWAYS read reviews and do proper research before you make use of a company. Phone references!!!! Their reviews on FB and Google will shock you! That a company like this is even still operating is shocking.

If a company sets their FB page that you cannot write a review (Like Garth's page of Lenox Logistics) see it as a big red flag. DON'T USE THEM IF YOU CAN'T FIND ANY REVIEWS!

LUCKILY one cannot delete a fb page review or a Google review. And a formal hello Peter review is also now done.

We have sent msges to Garth about broken and missing goods from the move. Still not a single word (reply) from him! Running away from responsibility. We will be putting in a claim against BOTH COMPANIES at the small claims court.

Mense... Avoid them at all cost! You will have less stress to hire a bakkie and trailer and do your move yourself!!
