This company should not be in business

The worst experience I've ever had. They moved our stuff from Gauteng to Western Cape, on both accusations the team arrived late and with no tools to assist in moving heavy items, also only a four man team, so moving took twice as long.

When Mega shift logistics had our stuff in storage, they indicated we owe them more money, felt like they were keeping our stuff at ransom, due to them trying to ****** money from us, we decided not to pay them in full, this then went back and forth for a while. When speaking to the business owner (Abel), his response "you are welcome to come collect your stuff from our warehouse"

The team arrived two hours late, and then indicated that they would not unpack our stuff until we settled the outstanding amount of R1000, which was done to get our belongings into the new residence.

Some of the issues experienced at the end of the move: Boxes were not labelled and in some instances, the incorrect box was given to us which we highlighted to the team. Our TV screen was cracked, boxes went missing, to date no response from the company.

In short, if you care about your belongings, don't use them. No accountability, no care for your goods they are entrusted with.
