Terrible serive from Megashift Logistics (Pty) Ltd

I used Megashift Logistics to transport my household contents from Johannesburg to the Western Cape. A sticker with consecutive numbering was stuck on to each item by Megashift. When the goods arrived, I reconciled the items received against the numbering recorded in Johannesburg. The reconciliation was agreed with the truck driver. A number if items were not delivered and the outstanding "numbers" were agreed by the driver. Damages to an oak dining room table , an oak chair and a kist (the foot was completely broken off), were also pointed out to the driver. I then reported the short deliveries and the damages to Emmanual, the representative of Megashift. After calling and sending a number of messages, I have now realised that the post delivery service offered by Megashift is NIL. He has not responded to my messages and email corrsponsdence and my only conclusion is that Megashift does not take responsibility for short deliveries and damages. It has become very clear that Emmanual's administration and record keeping is lacking to say the least as I had to point out a number of errors to him. On the positive side, the driver and crew were very pleasant.
