NEVER MAKE USE OF THIS MOVING COMPANY!

mega shift logistics are the most unprofessional moving company I have ever come across. There operation manager has no customer interaction skills whatsoever.

Our delivery from Pretoria to Cape Town was delayed by 4 days The first excuse was that the truck had to go in for a service the day before our move which was all confirmed

how is that the customers problem? well they made it our problem by arriving 10 hours late. And the worse thing is that they communicate nothing to you. They leave the customer in the dark. And their so called ops manager doesn't pick up his phone. And once they arrive and pick up your precious goods. They start demanding full payment before they even deliver. they threaten that they will stop the truck on the road unless you pay the outstanding balance. I don't understand what a deposit is for then? you must pay everything over to them when their truck hasn't even left Pretoria to cape town??? They have no sense of what service delivery even is. They won't let you even see the truck arrive before you have made full payment. And this is without you even knowing if any of your goods were damaged. What a bully type of method to force you to make full payment before they have completed the full service.

Worse of all, once the truck has finally arrived, 4 days late of course. The driver with his 4 guys tell me that they don't have trollies to move the goods. What moving company doesn't provide trollies to move furniture?

And since we have had even rains in cape town recently. The truck couldn't come all the way to the house as it would sink the bricks that lead to the estate. They literally were 40 meters from the house. The driver turns to me and says that they need a shuttle as it is company policy that anything further then 30 meters, they then can't carry anything, not even a box or mattress. So the guys just stand there and expect me to pay R1750 for their so called shuttle which is actually a small truck. So as the customer you have no leverage nor choice as you have paid everything over to them. But yet they throw one more hurdle at you.

So well done to Mega Shift Logistics. You officially lost all trust from us and I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Oh, one more thing to add the cherry on top. When i eventually got hold of Caleb who is the ops manager for the western cape. He explains to me that he is currently in interviews and normally doesn't pick up the phone to customers, the only reason he picked up is because he didn't know the number that called him.

I truly have no more words of what I think of this terrible, hostile moving company called Mega Shift Logistics.
