ALERT! Please, DO NOT APPROACH this company. Their modus operandi is to get hold of as many clients as they can grab to boost their figures and the service comes later. Much later! Your delivery becomes a lottery, depends on the constant reshuffling of deliveries due to the different bookings and places they go. In my case, I contacted them to collect my removal on the 28th Nov and drop in Cape Town on the 2nd Dec. On the day they were supposed to come at 12h00. They phoned to inform the truck was coming at 15h00. They ended up arriving after 18h00 and my belongings were loaded under rain. Although I had the keys to my apartment I had to sleep the 30th Nov and the 1st Dec in an Airbnb because I had no bed. Coming the 2nd Dec, day of delivery, I contacted them to know what time they were delivering. Then my nightmare started! This guy called Caleb, a smooth talker, who I have been in contact via whatsapp kept telling me my removal was coming... By 16h00 I phoned the Depot in Cape Town to get a final answer. They told me they have no idea what were my arrangements with Caleb. And then I realized what was going on. After pushing and screaming to him on the phone to know where my removal was he told me it was in Bloemfontein and it would come perhaps by the 06th! Nearly 17h00 I rushed to Green Point to get a mattress to sleep in my flat, otherwise it would be other thousands spent in Airbnb. Coming Friday no sign of delivery, only by the 8th they came with my belongings. A very unfriendly crew of three guys were working. Despite a problem in my sacroiliac joint I had to carry my boxes as they were carelessly. All the furniture and boxes covered in thick black dust. The brand new Addis cranes were broken, my study desk and small book shelf full of indentations, the bottom parts of my big bookshelf were cracked, my study chair broken, one box of books came literally disassembled. Disgusting! One wonders where they store these furniture!? I found two ****roaches inside one box! I asked for a symbolic compensation to cover the mattress I bought and the inconvenience I went through. Only today they came with a reply, after many e-mails sent that "I was quoted on a shared load and the contract stipulates that delivery is between 7 to 10 WORKING days...". Dear South Africans, read carefully. Although they stipulate this in a contract and they have been playing this trick to many others, it can be disputed in court. And there are some cases that negligence overrides lines of contracts. These people acted *********ly, unprofessionally, and IRRESPONSIBLY. And it is up to us to drop them. Until the last minute Caleb was confirming my removal was coming, the truck had arrived at the Depot, they were moving my goods to another truck, etc... And then the blow came. This is serious negligence and manipulation and no serious tribunal will allow this to happen. I was left in the very last minute to make arrangements for myself while they knew and NEVER informed me. This is ********. We cannot let these people continue like that. I would never imagine that my goods supposed to go to Cape Town from the Eastern Cape would end up in Bloemfontein!? And no warning to the client!? Please, anyone with similar experience e-mail to me because I am gathering proofs to go to court against these chancers. Thank you.
