DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Their five star ratings are not a true reflection of their service as many of them are obviously bought or ****! Do not make the same mistakes that we did! If we could provide a zero-star rating, I feel even that would be too high a rating for the pathetic service and rude, careless employees that we dealt with from beginning to end. For context, we moved from a complex in Johannesburg to another complex in Durban. Due to complex weight and height restrictions regarding vehicles, a shuttle service has to accompany a moving van to orchestrate a move. When the collection day arrived, the truck was initially unaccompanied by a shuttle - our agent had FORGOTTEN to arrange one. So much time was wasted because of that mistake, but ultimately a plan was made and they could load the truck. Of course, they charged us an extra R1500 for bubble wrap... Then, on the day of delivery, they made no attempts to contact us to inform us of their progress or delays. Calls on our part were either not answered or no ETA could be established. We inquired from them continuously as to whether they would arrive that day at all as we needed to make accommodation arrangements. They didn't inform us that they wouldn't be arriving at all until 5 pm that day - and by then it was too late to make any reasonable arrangements. They offered to refund us with R1000 for a hotel (for three of us) to sleep that night - we told them that on such short notice it would be insufficient, but that they could cancel the outstanding amount for the bubble wrap and we would call it even. Satisfied, they informed us that the truck would be there first thing in the morning. In the morning, we called again - another hundred times before we could receive any information at all. They told us that we could expect the delivery between 12 and 1. First thing in the morning became early afternoon and early afternoon ultimately became 4 pm. By this time we were exhausted, irritated and very stressed out about our furniture and goods. You might also guess that the shuttle was late. They did precisely one load when we got a call from the worst human being I have probably interacted with in my entire life (yes, Abel, we're talking about you). He told us that if we did not pay the movers the remaining R500 of our invoice (they had only issued a R1000 deduction and were adamant that we pay what was owed, even after what was agreed upon the night before), they would stop offloading the truck and we wouldn't get our stuff. That is exactly what happened. We rushed out to the truck that was parked just outside the complex. It aggravated us so much to see the five men sitting idly, just staring at us blankly, with no regard for the ********ity of the situation. At this point we were seething, but agreed to pay the R500 just so that we could get our stuff into our house. Their manners dripped with lethargy and their attitudes were the epitome of carelessness. Needless to say, that added to all of our extreme discomfort, but we suppressed our anger and waited for them to finish offloading. Now with regards to the delivery itself, there were boxes that were damaged so badly that items were falling out of them - now we have an uneven set of crockery and cutlery. They shattered the glass panel of a table they had bubble wrapped. They had also numbered our items so poorly that some numbers were amiss and others had been duplicated, which they refused to take responsibility for and attempted to shift the blame on us because we hadn't counted how many boxes we had given to them. Once our furniture was finally inside and they were ready to leave - it was 7 pm by then and the sun had long since set - we refused to sign their forms. It took fighting with them for over an hour before they would accept this, and even included a conversation with the darling aforementioned Abel who had no interest in appeasing our ire as he kept interrupting our complaints, talking over us, and shifting the blame off of them and onto us again. Eventually we ended the call and they ultimately left. This matter is currently being pursued by our lawyers and a ******** case for their ******ion is being laid. I urge you, dear customer, to consider using this company with the utmost care and not to look at the positive feedback but rather the negative as the most honest responses will always lie with those who specially took the time to provide the negative response rather than simply brushing it off like we usually do with mere dissatisfaction. Working with this company is not simply mere dissatisfaction - it is a thriller of an experience that will leave you reeling and wishing you had chosen differently when you had the chance.
