Good admin | bad driver communication | late pickup and drop off

The initial process of getting a quotation was very good, even after I had to change dates and delivery address, the consultant would make the changes with 10 minutes and send the revised qoute. I think that this deserves due commendation.

The problem was that on the day the crew was meant to pick-up, they arrived at 15:30 when the pick time was 12. This was on Friday 27th December. I was the first load onto the truck to Durban so I didn't understand why they were so late.

On the drop-off day Sunday 29th December, the drive called at 9am saying that he was in Pietermaritzburg. This was after I asked that he let's me know when he leaves joburg. I had to make quick arrangements for someone to drive from Pietermaritzburg to Pinetown were my stuff was being dropped off. They arrived and called the driver who didn't answer until 13:00 and said he is 2 hours away. They continued to wait and the truck only arrived at 17:15. Bottom line, I would not recommend or use Mega Shift Logistics again.
