Mega Couch uses terrible material to cover couches!!!
<p>My husband and I have previously bought couches at Mega Couch when we were first married and were so happy that we told others to go there. When it was time to buy new couches for his business we went back to Mega Couch. We had decided to replace our couches in our lounge and bought a suite from Mega Couch. The fabric we wanted originally was out of stock so we chose another fabric from a 20x20cm board of samples they have.</p> <p>We waited the standard 6 weeks for the couches to be made and covered. In fact it was more because of the december holidays but we didnt mind so much.</p> <p>The problem arouse when the couches arrived and we quickly learned that the material covering the couches is damaged very easily. I walked past the material and the buckle from my boot caught a thread. That thread then unravels through the entire couch. I have little children that will easily damage the material and unravel it happily. Why would a couch company use a material that so easily unravels and looks aweful? </p> <p>I phoned and emailed, my husband phoned and emailed. I eventually got through to the factory where I was told that I would have to pay +/-R3000/R4000 to replace the material on the couch. I explained the quality of the material is unacceptable could i not speak to someone in charge, maybe the owner of the company or maybe they could speak with the owner and get back to me. I have heard nothing from them since then. That was 2 months ago?!</p> <p>The counches have since then gotten extra "snags"in them which I have to glue quickly before they unravel. When they first started getting damaged we hadnt even had them for 3 months.</p> <p>I am so so dissippointed in this company. I will not be recommending them to anyone. </p>
