Gapway or getaway!
I have gapcover from Medway Marketing.. Please people do your homework before deciding to join them. I have submitted numerous claims to them and without fail I have to fight to get a response from them. The previous time I had to revert to Hallopeter and my claim was paid out. You submit a claim and receive a reference number with a note that they will reply within 72 working days. Trust me they don't reply. You phone them and every call you make costs you money and all they do is check your credentials and give you the answer that it takes 15 workings days people, 15 WORKING DAYS, to work through your claim because your claim is by the mystery insurers. I phone because I want to know WHEN and this is all they can tell you. I have an obligation to my docter to pay him but with this kind of response I cannot honour it. Surely this is the reason why anybody takes out gapcover but with this company it makes you start wondering if this is the place to be!

We apologise for not responding within 72 hours to the claim you submitted on 15 October 2018.
This claim was submitted to our insurers (AMBLEDOWN) on 25 October 2018.
When you called in on 25 October 2018, the consultant was correct in advising you that the claim is still within the 15 working days turn-around time which will be due on 5 November 2018.
In future should there be missing information, the 15 working days will commence upon receipt of all documentation which is considered a complete claim.
You will be notified once your claim has been finalized.
