Wrong information

After numerous conversations with Medshield personnel with regard to non payment of hospital account. I eventually called Tshepo Themba hospital and spoke to Ms Oberholzer. She explained to me that authorization for hospitalisation was approved by medshield with reference no: 699245.<br> <br> Before my mother was accepted on the medical aid, a full medical history form was sent through to Medshield, this was followed by PMA form which was filled in by Dr Mdluli and sent through to Medshield. Now only after my mother was discharged on the 11th December 2015, Medshield indicated in late December that it cannot pay. (Bell's palsy is acute, and not related to stroke or transient ischaemic attack,Medically). This poses a query on efficiency of staff.<br> <br> The hospital should have been informed earlier, so that my mother should have been discharged before incurring private hospital costs. Medshield should have made followups with the treating Doctor timeously.<br> The account is R26368.24, any normal person would never subject herself/ himself to that expense if informed timeously. I can't function, because I am busy trying to sort this mess which I did not cause. Medshield must just own up
